Life's Beauty

Life's Beauty

Our Neverland.

What do you do when things go wrong in your life?

How do you escape? Some alone time to keep sane.

Do you lose yourself in a book? A movie? A conversation? Music?

For me it’s definitely my movies, the more magic, adventure and imagination the better, the further away from reality the easier it is to float away.

I had just finished watching Finding Neverland, It’s a tear jerker and based on a true story. Usually movies don’t affect me like this one, but this one is different. It is about the journey of the man who created the story, play and eventually beloved Disney movie Peter Pan.

This man created different worlds and adventures using imagination. He eased the pain of others around him simply by showing them Neverland!

He reminded adults of, faith, believing, fairytales and imagination. And therefore proving that we never want to grow up, we don’t want the responsibilities and boringness of what an adult’s life can be like.

I bet there are many of you who wish against wish that life could really be like this.

Well maybe it can, if you just believe.

Believe in what?

Believe in Jesus and believe in God, faith!

We may not have a Neverland now, but if you have a relationship with Jesus and you have accepted Him  into your heart unselfishly, and given your life for God believing that Jesus died for you. (Then rose again in three days) Then we will have a Neverland, and not just any Neverland, the greatest one ever! Heaven!

It is beyond all the imaginations in every fantasy movie! It is said that we can never imagine the amazing-ness of heaven! So that is pretty cool!

Don’t lose hope! Movies, books, music and daydreaming may ease the pain, but only God can heal!

After you have finished your movie, music or book, what happens? Do you need another one to keep you satisfied? Escaping from reality every now and then is good, but you can’t do it forever.

Life is not meant to be easy, if so it wouldn’t be called life would it? Perhaps a sweeter name.

And facing it on your own was never the plan.

So let God help, or better yet let him take the wheel and be a-part of your life, guarantee it’ll help. :)
